We cut, sort and grade 1000's of gems every month. No matter how careful we are, there are always a few disappointments or rejects. We put these in three categories: Dollar Items, Freebies and Rejects.

Dollar items are usually not damaged, but are odd balls due to color, clarity or cut. We sell these misfits super cheap.

Freebies have minor damage. If we can't fix the damage by recutting, we give them away. Remember to ask or order 52001.

Rejects are exactly that. We cannot economically recover any finished gem value from these. Most get thrown in our Rough Mix (521332) for use as specimen, lapidary practice or fish tank gravel.
